Profanity in Emails

I came across this thread on another forum and I decided to raise this issue here as well, because I consider this an important factor in Internet marketing.
Personally I’m absolutely against the use of bad language, especially the use of profanities. I put on all my forum guidelines a clause stating that no bad language is permitted. In my mind the use of profanities in a public forum is the same as walking down the road in the nude. The general public doesn’t have to be exposed to things which are considered in many cultures as immoral. The use of profanities is not acceptable to devout Muslims, Christians and Jews. There many more cultures which consider the use of profanities an offense.
