how to track click-thrus for ad program?

Hi-
I am an absolute newbie to pay-per-click so please bear with me on this question.
I am launching a marketing program for kitchen designers and want to charge only for driving people to their website. I have a plan to get people to their site… but don’t know how to verify this was accomplished by me.
Is there a program that I can buy that tracks this?
