YSM over Adwords

i get much more for my money with ysm than adwords.
although the site is a local site, i was shocked to discover this since google’s database i presumed to be much larger.
i think where ysm wins is the lower cpc. i could easily get away with $0.1 with them where google would charge $0.4.
your experiences?
