best paying site for uploading files (country: india)

hello i m an indian. I m starting an educational site where i will be posting ebooks and other material for downloads. Which filesharing site is the best for this ? i dont want those silly surveys. I heard about ziddu.com and megaupload which pays like 1 dollar for 1000 downloads. Is there any other site which pays more than 1 dollar considering the fact that all of my downloads will be from India only. Please help.
