YouTube Adds Active Sharing

YouTube has added another social feature, Active Sharing. You can go to this page to turn it on (its off by default in case you want to keep your privacy). Once active, when you watch a video you can see who else is watching it right now, and they only track you for thirty minutes to keep everything on the up and up. Very cool. They’ve also done some other interface tweaks, detailed by Mashable:
Additionally, you can rearrange the order of your favorites videos, and a module that automatically approves comments from friends but requires approval from everyone else.
Any user’s Channel can now be filtered by Most Recent, Most Viewed, and Most Discussed, and gone more lax with comments limits, meaning you only have to type in a CAPTCHA once per login session. You can also unblock users, and browse Partner channels by Most Viewed, […]
