Best CPM network

Hi all.. I realise my post isn’t specifically about PPC but thought it was the best place for it.
I currently use Adsense on numerous sites and on a particular forum I run the CTR is very low, which is normal for a forum, and in turn the eCPM is low… under $1.
My question to you all is would I be better off using a network that pays via CPM!!??
If so any experiences/networks you have had I would be interested in hearing about.
