Adbrite text ads impressions

Hello i started earning with adbrite right i dont have text ads on because i basically hate site with it but am wondering how they pay you on it is it pay for clicks or is it for impression cause i get like 22,000 impresssion a day text ad its says but i dont get paid because i dont have none will i benefit from it since i make money from banner ads…
Or Can Someone Give me the run down on adbrite and how really it works cause i still really dont knopw just know that cpm stand for like per million
