Google Trends Back On Active Duty
Google has reactivated Google Trends, its search activity tracking service, which had kind of fallen by the wayside. It was discovered recently that Google hadn’t updated Trends since November, the kind of lapse we haven’t seen since Google “forgot” to add any new images to Google Images for many months. Well, obviously Google was listening, because Trends is now up-to-date again, with data apparently through February 21, according to Ionut Alex.
Here’s a new look at some popular matchups:
Google Yahoo Microsoft Ask
digg slashdot techmeme techcrunch Scoble
nytimes | new york times usatoday | usa today foxnews | fox news cnn msnbc
Great to see this back in service. Lets keep those updates coming!
Also, Philipp found an unofficial Google Trends blog (it uses BlogPulse and IceRocket, too). Interesting stuff in there.
