PPM…would it be worth it?

I’ve had a Pittsburgh sports forum for about 4 months now. I average 5,000 unique visitors a month and close to 3,000,000 hits a month. I know my members would never click on ads so PPC is out.
With a good PPM would I be able to make anything? I don’t want to put ads on the forum if I’ll only make a few bucks.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
BTW, I just found this forum recently and I’ve learned a TON already from you guys.
