WordPress.org, Twenty Fourteen Theme, SlideDeck Lite 2, Customize Theme

1) I am using the latest version of wordpress to date and I am using the default theme Twenty Fourteen from wordpress. I have tried to customize it making the sidebar to the left and the main menu bar at the top making it white, so essentially the whole themew will be all white but with black fonts and texts. I have seen it done on another wordpres blog and I even emailed the link to the page to my godaddy tech support person but apparently at that time the blogger changed the theme back to…
