Leaving GoDaddy. What is the best & cheapest registrar?

I'm looking at NameCheap, but can't really gather much info from their site. I am DONE with GoDaddy. I only stayed with them because they were cheap, but all my domains except the newer ones are coming up for renewal within the next two months, so I want to get out now. I am tight on money, so if there is a good registrar that will give me a great price to transfer less than 10 domains (I have 6), I'd love to know.
