Can you make a SAAS website builder product?

I've been wanting to start a simple, intuitive website builder service (think Squarespace, Wix) for a long time now, but just don't quite have the PHP/MySQL/JavaScript expertise to do it alone.
Basically, customers could sign up, register a domain, pick a template, add content, and pay a monthly fee to keep their site online.
