Subscribers For YouTube Channel

So, I recently started my own YouTube channel here.
Basically, it’s just something to play around with but I’d like to get some subscribers. Any advice on how to do that? It’s a Wrestling/Boxing/MMA oriented channel but later on down the road, I’d like to do a "General News" channel.
Of course, I’d have to invest in a better camera and take the videos a little more seriously but for now it’s just me, my Southern accent, and a digital camera.
I figure it’s a modest approach and I’m simply just being myself.
So…with all that being said, any advice?
