Blogger Adds Right-to-Left Editing and Templates
Blogger added support for three new languages, Arabic, Hebrew and Persian, and with it some useful features to properly support them. Since those are the first right-to-left languages for Blogger to support (that is, that writing in those languages starts on the right side of the page and goes towards the left), Blogger needed these new features to work with the requirements of the new languages.
If you select one of the languages before starting a new blog, or go to Settings > Formatting and change them for an old one, the Blogger interface will not only use the new language and be formatted “backwards”, but Blogger will actually flip the design on your blog template, switching all the page elements from one side to the other. Only the new Layout templates, not the older classic ones, support this bidirectional switching.
