Get Outside More

This year’s health news has announced that most of us are vitamin D deficient, that we should take vitamin D supplements and spend just a bit more time outside, maybe 10 minutes a day, and without sunscreen on. I know that as a computer jockey, it is very easy for me to avoid the sun (I take 100 IUs of vitamin D every day), and getting out in the sun for a little bit each day would be nice.

But I also know that my eyes are usually tired from staring at the computer monitor, and I certainly do not need the additional strain imposed by daylight glare and UV. We do not need to expose our eyes to the sun in order for our bodies to manufacture vitamin D, and I always wear sunglasses.

Many of my friends say that they always lose their glasses, and they are therefore interested in purchasing Wholesale Sunglasses at wholesale prices. I tell them that inexpensive sunglasses are usually safe (as long as they are not involved in high-impact sports and similar pursuits) and that many optometrists and many optics stores have the equipment to test sunglasses for UV-resistance.
