If you don't know what a favicon is, it's that little icon that shows up on the left of the URL of the site in the address bar. Sites that don't have a Favicon look pretty boring. The problem with making favicons is the size, you have to work with a 16×16 image so it can be difficult to make it look perfect, anyway heres a guide on how to make cool looking favicons in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
