Trying to build a WordPress alternative. Would love some feedback.

We're building a new CMS that's extremely fast to set up for the designer and so easy to use that it doesn't require any client training. The goal is to provide an alternative to WordPress for static sites where WP would be overkill.
We just published the beta and would love to hear your thoughts on if we're heading in the right direction. There's a live demo available, so no need to download or register.
