latest search techniques

Hi,
Can anybody tell me about any new search technique from which some unique sites can be discovered. I have tried almost everything (allintitle, allinurl, blog, +, etc) but no use.
Badly need an effective search technique to find out new sites which my colleagues has not able to discover till now
