I think my account has been compromised

I've registered my account at 8 of May

Till something like 12 May
I had no problem with beside the constant password recovery each time I've tried to log in.
Emailed twitter regarding it… but all they did is sending me recovery links… swell.
On May 12. Some other user appeared with the same nickname. And now I'm having trouble to receive the recovery emails as well… What should I do?
