I want to be #1. Is it possible?

I'm trying to achieve #1 here:

Depending on where you are searching from, I'm basically competing against Hearthpwn (part of the Curse Gaming Network, which includes MMO Champion, is a HUGE network) and a Reddit Thread.
Is it almost impossible to beat them as a small team of 2 people?
I think I might just settle for #2. But even that, beating Reddit might be a huge…
