People find my site for “indexof/”

Hi,
I suppose this happens when they come across an empty folder… or something similar.
AWSTATS shows the most common keyword for which they find my site as being: "indexof/"
Where could this be coming from?
I have no empty folders on my site. Could it be some offensive intrusion attempt?
