Getting started as a JVzoo Affiliate.

So I am wanting to market some things off of JVzoo. Most specifically relating to internet marketing and seo. Am I setting myself up for failure when picking this niche? It just caught my eye because of the conversion rates of like 14% so that's why I am asking.
Another question I have is how should I promote these products? Do I make a legitimate website? A squeeze page??
These are the two points where I have hit a wall.
