Best way to market my Penny Auction site?

Since the launch of the site, I have been running facebook and google ads but I have not seen any significant increase in traffic on my penny auction site (http://www.tintinmonkey.com). I would like to know what would be the best way to advertise and gain traffic (paying members) without spending too much on advertising?
