What Background Colour For Your Blog?

When designing your blogs what kind of background do you go for (the bits on the sides)?
a) A solid colour, the same as the main colour in your header.
b) White background.
c) One that represents what the blog is about. Eg, a sports blog with, say, grass as a background.
