Looking for advertising agencies for advertising spaces

I have about 5,000 plus unique visits daily on my ecommerce website. I would like to place some banners on there. However, I do not want to go down the route of Google AdSense and similar programs like CPC and CPM. I am sure some big organisations would like to place their banners on the site.
So my question is: are there any agencies who work as intermediaries, which do the due diligence on sites like ours and then place banners on the behalf of the advertisers.
