How to promote hotel trough Facebook?

I wanted to create a facebook fun page for hotel where I work.
Do you think is it better to do a fan page or a profile?
Plan is to get as many fans as possible mainly from 2 targeted countries.
I had idea to do a game every week where one of fans can get free trip fo and 7 days staying in a hotel for 2 people(all expenses covered).
So, to get in a competition, they have to become fans and send invitation to the group to all their friends.
