To much followers

Hey guys,
I found this post on the warrior forum and I was wondering what you guys were thinking about it!
What will git give you if you get twitter followers that also follow 1.000 or more others?
It make no sense to me.
Example, I post around 3 tweets a day to my followers. And let’s say they all tweet 3 tweets a day, that means that your follower that follows you and 1.000 others get 3.000 tweets per day. Taking Alexa as tool we can see people stay around 10 minutes on the website. What means in that 10 minutes they have to read 300 tweets per minute what is 5 a second. That is impossible.
And then there are a lot of companies and people who start to follow you, in the hope you follow back, who follow 3-4-5K profiles.
Then I ask myself, what does Twitter really give me or you
