New to facebook ads

Hello everybody!
I want to promote my facebook page using fb ads and I want to use the CPC method.
This is the very first time that I do this procedure and I am not able to switch to cpc mode.
I clicked on switch to advance mode(includes cpc) and even if I select any of the optimization options, pricing remains CPM.
Can sb help me on creating my first ad?
