Problems installing FFMPEG (August 2013)

Following this tutorial: http://hasaninter.net/2013/07/01/cpanelwhm-11-38-ffmpeg-install/
Got as far as:
11. Mplayer – remember, this will download a new version of ffmpeg for some crazy reason. When it asks, just hit enter and allow it to download. It's only used for compiling mplayer.
