Building a video wall

Hello,
I am interested in building a video wall (home theater), but I think some information I found is too professional to me! My company has used a kind of video wall controller for anniversary celebration. I think it's suitable for business only. Example
Is there easy & cost lower way to build a small video wall for activities like family reunion?
Like one single application can connect several monitors together.
