Outdoor Advertising (car advertising) for an ecommerce site

Just curious if anyone has had any experiences in promoting an ecommerce site (or just a website in general) through car advertising (car signage)? Have you guys had any success? Any tips would be highly appreciated too.
I am thinking of getting extensive car signage (covering the whole car) and driving the car for at least two weeks through our targeted areas to turn heads & stop traffic, and to see what impact it has on our site’s traffic as well as in-store traffic.
