Getting Clients from Craigslist

I wonder how many people here get clients off Craigslist. Not by posting ads, but responding to them. I typically land 3 clients per moth just by checking ads twice a day in my state.
People and companies post for web designers in two sections; web/info design in the jobs section and "computer" in the gigs section. If Craigslist in your state has several cities to choose from you’ll need to click into each one.
People are much more prone to hire a local web developer so when you respond to an ad, really drive home the fact that you’re local. It doesn’t really take a lot of effort – maybe 2 to 5 minutes to compose a professional response. In any case, it’s low hanging fruit.
