Experimenting with hubpages and other affiliate marketing oriented sites

Hi, all!
This is my first post on the affiliate marketing section so any possible mistakes are from not enough experience. A week ago I started to experiment with Hubpages. I’ve got one Adsense account powered by a blogger blog so my hubs contain Adsense.
Few days ago I started using Amazon associates program to see what happens. As you may suggest the results are pretty poor. My hubs are: http://yuris.hubpages.com/hub/Comman…enge-expansion and http://yuris.hubpages.com/hub/Gangna…ies-collection (no Spam – just asking for positive advices). So the question is: What are the mistakes made by me? What should I do in order to improve the affiliate amazon sections to get more clicks and conversions because selling stuff this way seems very very hard? Thanks in advance!
