Tips on how to improve conversion rate?

I own a website called ladometer.com which is a mens magazine website aimed at the male 18 -35 age range. The website recieves quite a large amount of traffic, but has a very low conversion rate on its affiliate links. The website’s point is to make money through it’s click through affiliate links, but I am finding it hard to get people to click on these.
I wrote a post on the best mens fragrances, which has affiliate links going off to fragrance x, but so far has a conversion rate of 0%. Please can you advise me on how I can improve conversion rate on my website?
