When did you start making money?

Hello Everyone,
I’m new to internet marketing and I just started learning from a wonderful membership site. I am wondering, and I know the answer will be somewhat different for everyone, about how long did it take you to start making money in the beginning?
Sorry, that seems kinda long and I’m about to go back to work from lunch so I’ll just fix it up down here, lol.
About how long did it take you to start making money when you started internet marketing online?
And if you haven’t made anything yet, is there anything you’re changing?
I’m just trying to get some ideas as well as learn from others.
