Appeals court reinstates $1 billion copyright infringement lawsuit against Youtube

The U.S. Court of Appeals in Manhattan today reversed a lower court’s decision to throw out Viacom’s $1 billion lawsuit against Youtube for allowing copyrighted videos to be uploaded to the popular video sharing site.
