Yahoo! study uncovers what shoppers want most from online ads

Yahoo’s recent Holiday Shopping Intentions study found that half of consumers say they’ll use the Internet to research holiday purchases more this year versus last. So what do these consumers want from brands online? Find out what Yahoo! researchers uncovered after the jump.

Shoppers expect online advertising to connect them with ideas, key sales information and reminders. Fifty percent want online ads to tell them when there are sales events.  Forty-seven percent want to be informed about deals, offers and promotions. Fifty-five percent of shoppers want online ads to help them get gift ideas.
