PPC newbie

Hi, I am new to the web business and thus PPC. I have a site that is very similar to my brothers who has been running his, successfully, for 4 years. He has helped me with mine. He has a much higher conversion rate than I do even though we are using the same shopping cart and run ads for the same products.
