Google-backed 23andMe hits major milestone: 100,000 users in DNA database

Co-founder and CEO of 23andMe Anne Wojcicki says the company will have “one of the largest databases out there, if not the largest” and that it will enable her scientists to do “a tremendous amount of discovery” into the possible genetic causes of ailments like Parkinson’s disease.
