Conversion Rates for an Ecommerce Site

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to ecommerce, but if I’m understanding this correctly, the average conversion rate for a site is about 2%, and the average pay per lick is around 15 cents so it would cost around $7.50 to get a customer to buy something from your site, is this about right?
Do any of you have higher conversion rates?
