What are your expectations of a PPC Network?

A while ago I was going to launch an advertising company, but funding didn’t go so well. While that was a disappointment at the time it allowed us to observe our product at a more deeper aspect and realize that we needed to ask the audience what they expect before we went full head way into development, which is why we scraped the old version and are going to be creating a network around our users needs.
So our question to both advertisers, and publishers is simple. What do you expect from an advertising company? Reporting, Easy management, Effective targeting? Explain to us how you would like things to run if you could have anything.
