The Art of Google Doodles

Google Doodles, playful illustrations that mark holidays and anniversaries on the search engine’s home page, have celebrated the birthdays of Vincent Van Gogh, Louis Braille, and “Sesame Street.” If you check out Google online Sunday, a black ribbon on its home page marks the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
