How to get more advertisement clicks

Hello all,
I am thinking this is the right forum to place my question. As everyone else, I am also planning to earn some money on my blog. I worked hard to make it more popular. Now, I reached the goal. Getting good traffic around 1200-1300 visits a day. But, the main problems here is advertisement clicks.
How to get more ad clicks? Out of 1200-1300 visits, I am getting only 7-10 clicks a day.
I have placed the ads in the specific positions where most of the popular sites have… But, I am not getting many….
Can you please tell me some good suggestions on how can I improve this and earn money?
