How can I monetize this anime site? Please help. In dire need of salvation.

After many years of dealing with anime, I’m just not as successful with monetizing the niche as other anime sites. It’s not as though my site gets poor traffic either.

Monthly Impressions: 380,000
PR 2, and still ranks higher than a lot of PR 4 sites. I can easily make this higher, but there’s no point if I can’t monetize the traffic. Most traffic is through Google.
Recently, I tried to sell the site to somebody more competent, but due to the topic of the site I can’t get it listed.
So, I’m stuck trying to monetize it, but the problem is I don’t know how. Adsense pays only about .01-.05 cents a click for about $100/month. I tried various filters and settings, but nothing works.
