How Long For Google To Review Ads

Hello,
I was just wondering about how long does it usually take for google to review and Approve/Disapprove new ads?
Its a male enhancement campaign so that’s the reason for pre-review…never had to wait like this before.
Also….do I have to wait all over again every time I make a change to my ad’s?
