Chitika – Is it PPC Ad network? pls help new bee

Hi,
I have get approved by Chitika yesterday. When I tried to get code, I noticed that Chitika Ads only shown for Search engine traffic not to direct traffic, is my understanding is right? Morover its seems like a CPA network.
Anyone used Chitika? please share your experience.
