Watch Bands
When I go to the Southwest, particularly Arizona and New Mexico, I am always comparing watch bands, especially the ones made of silver and with semi-precious stones: turquoise, coral, and other regional gems. I really don’t need another watch band; I already have one that was made by a Zuni native American in New Mexico, with its mother of pearl, turquoise, red coral, and obsidian. Still, I would like one of the Navajo pieces; they are usually wider, with distinctive turquoise. I do enjoy the Sterling Silver, the heft and look of it. But like I said. I already have a watch band, three of them: one for dress, one for work, and one for hiking.
Now if I was to go to Texas, I would find more bands made of snake skin. And I am sure I would find quite a few Lizard Watch Bands (there are lots of lizards throughout the Southwest, in Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas; I have even caught lizards in Missouri). But if you are not going to make the trip south any time soon, you can take a look at the watch bands on the www.watchstyle.com web site. You will always need replacement watch bands. We all do. And www.watchstyle.com has a good selection, with photos.
