Need A New Watchband?
I have one watch band that I would repair rather than replace. It was crafted by a Zuni Indian in New Mexico and is Sterling Silver inlaid with mother of pearl, turquoise, red coral, and obsidian. Well, that is the bracelet and watch holder part of it. The rest of the wrist band is just a rather normal stretchy metal type and if it broke I would certainly replace it and preferably with something fancy, something that matches the quality of the Sterling Silver. I sure wish I could find a stretchy Sterling Silver watch band, but have not found one so far. I’ll keep looking.
Meanwhile, if you are like me, I am always on the lookout for Replacement Watch Bands, since I do tend to break bands on a rather consistent basis. I own more than one watch: one for dress, one for work, and one for hiking. My hiking watch has a leather watch band and leather does seem to last the longest, although it does absorb a lot of sweat.
If you are cruising around online looking for watch bands and watch accessories, take a look at http://www.watchstyle.com. They have a fairly nice selection and you can take a look at photos.
