What Are These Kind Of Ads Called?

Hi,
I have just seen a new kind of ad appear on a website i was on, but i have never seen this kind before and i was wondering if anyone knew what these kind of ads were called and also if anyone knew where i could try them out,
Please look at this website, http://depom.org/ and then in the bottom right hand corner you see a little ad popup.
I wouldn’t call it a popup ad as they are the ads that open a new browser window in front of your main browser.
Does anyone have any idea?
