How do I improve my revenue conversion rate?

I just installed Adbrite on http://tinyurl.com/bmg7cu. Currently I am getting 300+ U/V daily and 2,000+ page views daily.
I’ve been running ads on the website for less then a month but I am not getting any high conversion rates. Currently I’m making just over $1 per week. That alone pays for the website but I want to increase it to about $5 per day.
Any ideas on how I could increase revenue based on ad placement and such?
